Another Venice page but I wanted to see if I could achieve a sketching effect with just the filters.

Process for those interested.

I started with a fotoblendz and clipped my image to it.
I clipped a paper with the colour tones I was looking for, in this case a Tres Bon artsy paper.
I added a fill color to the fotoblendz in a colour tone that matched it. A browny pink.
I clipped 2 copies of the image and played with the blending modes, settling on 'multiply' and 'overlay.

Because I was looking for a sketchy effect I clipped another copy of the original image above those two copies and used the 'find edges' filter on it, changing the blending mode to 'hard light' after playing with the effects of different blending modes.
It looked a little too washed out so I added yet another copy of the original image and changed it to 'colour' mode.
