My lovely 92 year old Mum has had health issues since July but happily she managed to attend a function in her sheltered accommodation last week to celebrate 20 years since the flats were built and she was presented with a bouquet of flowers as the person who has lived there the longest - 17 years.
I clipped the photograph to one of the paint layers from the transfers then added a bit more depth by adding more white paint to the paint layer. I then merged and duplicated the layer making the top photographic layer colour burn mode. I fiddled about with these layers erasing part of the bottom normal layer to allow the colour burn mode to accentuate the pattern on her blouse. Behind I have used a selection of layers from various Artsy transfers and a paper from Ap Notabilia, colour changed using hue and Saturation, masked then revealed with brushes from AP Different strokes 11. The frame is from AP Anaphora.
