As my oldest granddaughter is looking a colleges, it got me to reflecting about my time searching for options. I wanted to "bum" around Europe with my boyfriend at the time. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I took the safe route, but that's okay too. I like where my journey has taken me.

Process
Artsy paper 4 from APP Reflections was used as the foundation of the page. An advertisement from a department store was scanned and the figure was extracted. The shirt was highlighted (marching ants around the shirt) using the quick selection tool, a new layer was created above the image and filled with black. An artsy paper from the kit was clipped to it. I moved the paper around until I liked the results for the shirt. The same thing was done for the pants. Journey WordTransfers were clipped to the pants with the blending mode changed to color burn with a reduced opacity. The slide was placed behind the body. A clipping mask for each individual window frame was created and the images (downloaded from the internet) were clipped to them. The photo was clipped to the frame mask of the stamp. Artsy Transfers Notabilia 1 and 5 were added. Some of the layers were moved, turned off, resized or the blending mode was changed. The MultiMedia School globe was layered over AT Notabilia 5 with word added around it. Dimensional elements were added to complete the page.
