Quote:
Now the beautiful business of summer is over,
Earth wraps herself in a bright, leaf-patterned shawl.
The hives cement the prodigal juice of the clover
And spendthrift gold is hoarded in bin and stall.

Notes: Bringing in the photos to a new file and reducing the size of each I approximately arranged them on the page, knowing I would noodle with them as the layout grew. I slipped a png artsy card underneath the top photo of the trees and clipped the photo to it, resizing the photo to fit. The photo was blended to Linear Burn, which blew out the sky and brought out the card underneath.
I clipped the window photo to the mask provided in the brush set in Tapestry and blended the mask to Color Burn. To brighten the photo a little to show more detail, I duplicated it and put it on Screen Blend mode.
I resized the water/reeds photo to match the size of the first two photos and blended it to Color Burn. Resizing the boat photo smaller and putting it on Color Burn, I brought in another png artsy card over it and off-setting a bit, put it on Linear Burn allowing the boat photo to show through.
The third png artsy card was brought in on the right and underneath all the other photos in the layers panel and blended to Darken which blew out the lighter parts. Opening a few psd artsy cards, I brought in bits and pieces to add to the card such as the art stroke and splatters. I added the title to this card. I also added a piece next to the boat/card combo.
After pasting the quote on the page, I opened the mask from the framed mask, resizing and clipping another artsy card to it, resizing that also. They are both on Normal blend mode and underneath the quote in the layers panel.
From there, I used brushes to flesh out the page from the list I mentioned and brushes from Tapestry and Hello Autumn. Adding the dimensional flower, blended to Color Burn, I put the snap and button threads over it and adding stitches to the window photo. Just above the solid paper in the layers panel, I added the edging, recoloring and blending to Color Burn and turning down the opacity to 47%. That finished this page.
