One of the things I like to do, when working on a 'continuation' page, is to repeat the background. Originally this background was about 10 papers, transfers, masks, etc, which took a while to compose. Merged and plopped into a new page made the 2nd page so much quicker to create.

On the drive home, the smoke increased as we came upon a fresh fire in the Cascade Locks. This carelessly set fire (youths playing with fireworks in the height of fire season) would cause the freeway to be closed later in the week, would jump the river to Washington, and would cause irreparable damage to the
Columbia River Gorge.
