Musicman

I totally love Anna's ArtsyCamera brushes. They always help add interesting twist to any design. A friend of mine owns a microbrewery in Tucson. It's in an old brick produce warehouse built in 1906. On weekends the pub is open and local musicians play. Love this photo of one doing his thing. Oh, it's also a gallery for local art. If you're ever in Tucson, stop by Borderlands on Toole St.

Process notes:
I used SolidPaper No. 4 from APP Chatter for my background. I placed my photo in the lower right corner. Created a mask from lots of Dripped WaterColor brushes and clipped the photo to it. Also clipped the music notes to the masked photo. Wanted a different photo effect, so I duplicated the clipped photo twice, using a colored pencil PS filter on the first one. Applied a PS filter cutout on the second one and used the luminosity blend mode. Added several transfers behind the photo to add some color and depth. Brushed the Artsy Camera No. 2 in the left upper corner. Used the ellipse shape tool to create a base for the photo on the camera lens. Clipped the photo to the shape and placed a transfer underneath it. The frame and wordArt were the finishing touches.

Thanks for looking!
love the grey tones with the yellow - very striking but cool like your musician!

love how you framed the photo in the camera lens and the contrast of gray and yellow! Would love to sit down and listen to his music!
