Lost in History

My husband and I visited Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire created by Bess of Hardwick between 1590 and 1597. It has connections to Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I. This inspired me to create this layout.

Process
I selected the layers I wanted from the Artsy Template then grouped them and added them to my Artsy paper. I searched the internet and found two copyright free images of Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I and added them to my layout and clipped them to my frames (duplicating and clipping images to separate masks) and the paint layer of the AT, brushing out some of the layer.
I recoloured the transfers and stains to match the background paper and main image . Finally I clustered embellishments to pin the image, finally I added some journaling.
Thanks for looking
Viv
An amazing page. Love the framing and the large blended portrait, the appropriate elements you chose and the red lips.
