Town of Big Ben

Sophia and Autumn in the Red Box in Parliament Square and I love that Big Ben is in the background. This photo was taken by my daughter Jackie and not part of Sophias album, but the family can have this layout if they want it. With our phone booths disappearing with the onset of smart phones, I love the fact that England still has theirs with working phones. Superman can still change his clothes in England!

Process Notes: Using artsy paper 2 as my foundation, I nestled the photo into the paper and used a reverse mask to hide it. With the AnnaBlendz Artsy brush, I brought the parts I wanted back out into the open. I duplicated the photo and used Screen blend mode with the opacity turned down to 45%. Just above the background paper in the layers panel I placed the art stroke overlay.

The word art was placed and my own words added to it and underneath in the layers panel, I placed a transfer from Whizzo resting next to the words on the left. Underneath in the layers panel, I placed the png leaves without the shadow and blended to Darken. I clipped a word art mix to it. I put a taped texture over the people walking in the background of the phone booth.

Using the heart button and duplicating it to partially cover the dots in the artsy paper, I resized and turned them different directions and added a drop shadow. I placed the birdie on the bottom button along with a button thread. Below the words I used the pin art and put a button thread through one of the holes. That finished this layout.
