Sometimes ya just gotta let the photo shine! I did that with this adorable photo of a pup I found on pixabay. I wish those eyes were looking at me!

Process notes:
I worked with the photo to make it the star of my layout. I opened SolidPaper No. 2 from the New ArtPlay Palette Hackenyed and rotated it 90 degrees. I placed my pup photo and duplicated it. I used blend modes of color burn and darker color at 100% and 19% opacity. This setting really made the photo pop. Blended out the background. I placed transfer No. 2 and 4 from Artsy Transfers Hackneyed beneath the photo and masked out some until it looked like it was an uneven edge. Added my wordArt and was finished.
