I sewed this Raggedy Andy many years ago for my son, ANDY, to give to the girl we thought he was going to marry. A few years ago, her mom found it among the things she left behind when she married someone else, and thought I might like to have it back. Turns out, the gal Andy married was a much better match for him, and there are no regrets on anyones part, but hes not interested in having the symbol of an old flame in his house. And so now Raggedy Andy is going to go live with Andys much younger nieces and nephews.
I also sewed the quilt RA is sitting in front of. I love it that, purely accidentally, one of the dark circles of the quilt echoes RAs round black eyes.
