This is the 17th spread in my new projectan album about our Family Vacation earlier in the month. I am in the home stretch, with maybe 4-5 more spreads to go, plus the first page and the last and the covers. Working this fast has certainly taught me a lot. Sometimes it was a push to stay on track, but I am enjoying the results of my efforts in that I'm capturing the energy of the trip both in the visuals and the journaling. I think the kids are going to really enjoy looking back at this album as they get older. It is so rare that everybody--all eight of us--can get the time off at the same time to come together. Documenting this special ime has been a real motivator.

Every time I work on this project I send out gratitude to aA Designs for the wonderful template albums that have made this job easier. Truly, they all work together and are so easy to adapt to the needs of the pages. The supplies, too. Everything works together!

I selected this template spread based on the shape of the FotoblendzI needed one that was horizontal-ish for the left and a vertical shape for the right. I had to jostle the frames/masks a bit to fit things in, but that was a simple matter. After doing that, I recolored some stains while I was thinking, and then added one more photo--the bottom boulders for a background. This photo was super-enlarged, which I could do because the kid who sent me this image is a conservatory-trained photographer so his stuff comes to me in high rez format. Ah! What a pleasure to have good shots and over 1000 photos to pick from! To finish off the page, I blended in some paper from the Sun Fun Artplay Palette at the top and added the beautiful transfers/overlays and embellishments from Abrazo.
You have done an amazing job creating all these pages so quickly but you are quite right to do so while everything is still fresh in your mind.
How marvelous to have your whole family together (envy, envy). Love those boulders tying the 2 pages together.

Fabulous idea of having the boulders run across the bottom of both pages. And I have to agree with you about the ease of using Anna's templates. Fabulous documentation of your trip and family. Love it!

Love how the boulders at the bottom of the page anchor the photos! Wonderful page and thank you for sharing your vacation with us!
