Notes in Photoshop Element 14
This double template suited my stash of photos wonderfullyas I work through the photos for our recent Family Vacation (now numbering over 1,000), templates with lots of real estate for photos are hitting the home run. There are a lot of moments to cram in that I know the kids will want to remember so it is the memory piece that is driving this work. As with the other templates, I'm picking carefully enough so that I don't have to do more than minor tweaks to accommodate the words and images. More time goes into the background and the embellishment because I am deliberately trying to avoid a monochromatic look in this albumand it's also really important to me to capture the particular energy of the events depicted on each spread, so one size definitely does NOT fit all. It's wonderful that aA Designs offers such a vast array of products and, as I have said before, that they ALL work together.
This is going to be a long album, so for my own sanity I'm focusing on keeping things fresh and changing up the look from spread to spread, although I do find myself using a series of repetitive elements (like the JazzedUpLoopDaLoops) and devices so things don't look random. Still, it's nice to have the self-granted permission to go where the energy takes me on any particular series of photos.
