Process
A solid white paper from APP et Voila was used as the foundation of the page. A 12x12 Page FotoBlendz was resized and layered in the middle of the page. The photo of the flag was clipped to the mask and placed on the right side. Several transfers from APP Red White Blue were also clipped to the mask. The photo of the Statue of Liberty was extracted, converted to black and white with the blending mode changed to luminosity to allow the colors of the transfer to show through. The Liberty Bell word art is a photo that I took of a drawing by Opatow for The Evening Bullentin, Philadelpha in 1976 at the Liberty Bell Museum. It was converted to black and white with the contrast and brightness increased. Using the magic wand the white was highlighted and deleted, leaving just the black words. Artsy paper 6 from APP Red White and Blue was clipped to the words. To complete the page MultiMedia Bursts, Magic Sprinklez, Stitchez, artstrokes and word art were added.
