Process
A solid paper from APP Meadow was used as the background of the page. The photo was clipped to a fotoblendz mask, duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light. These layers were merged together, duplicated with the blending mode changed to darken with a reduced opacity. This gave more defintion to the image. Several transfers from Artsy Transfers Meadow, APP Meadow, APP Summer Breeze and APP Summer Days were layered above and under the photo to add more depth. A brush was created from a handwritten ledger that my husbands mother keep of the farm expenses and stamped onto the page. Embellishments, MM Birds and word art complete the page.
I'm SO attracted to the financial inventory. Adds a reality baseline to the beauty of the landscape you have constructed. I've come to love that about your work...the 360-degree perspective that often runs through it. Bravo! PS: as always, embellishment magic here, too!
what an amazing page and great idea/message. so many very special elements (the bird brush below, the great division of your page, the account (as background, absolutely brilliant), the clustering, the paints.... love love it all.
