This is at the end of a path at Ding Darling and in the open water the pelican were feeding - it was pretty awesome them and just sitting in the sun!

Such awesome photos Nancy! I love Pelicans, my mother used to say a poem about them all the time.

A wonderful bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week!
But I'll be darned if I know how the hellican? LOL. I love the blues in your page!

Gorgeous blues! Love watching the pelicans dive for food. Did you know that because they dive with their eyes opened they go blind within seven years?
