Process Notes: Opening a new 12 x 12 file in PS, I created a rectangle spanning the page with the Shape tool and brought in the photo and clipped it to the rectangle. Duplicating the photo and using a reverse mask, I brought out the path and sand. I didnt do any fancy-schmancy blending with the photo layers, it just didnt serve any purpose with this layout, and thats okay. Under the photo layers I placed solid paper 4.

Running along the top edge of the photo I used a paper texture brush colored from the sand in the photo. Above it I placed the quote I had typed in another app, playing with it to make it span across the page using the character panel.

I brought in the art stroke overlay and dusted some spackle texture brushes in with the photo, using shades from the photo to add a little depth.

Placing the MM Sun, I blended the glow to Soft Light to tone it down and slipped in the tape element between the ring layers and added the lady bug to it, resizing these pieces. Underneath the MM Sun layers I placed a transfer from the Palette.

To balance out the page I placed the word art/title and MM Leaves over it in the layers panel. Within the grouped leaves I placed the grass from the Palette, resizing and brought in a button thread to tie them together. I made a composite of the page, CMD+OPT+SHIFT, ran the Poster Edges filter on the composite and blended to Hard Light. And that completes this simple page.
I love the scale of the photograph, the horizontal design spanning the page framed by the quote at the top then the subtle arrow to the daisy at the bottom! Lovely page!
