Process Notes: Compositing the two photos I took of Autumn and Sophia doing their homework, I brought in artsy paper 1 underneath, positioning and resizing them over the artsy part of the paper. I duplicated both photos and put the copies on Screen blend mode. Over the photos I placed the fotoglow which gave the colors a richer look.
I brought in the MultiMedia Homes and since Ill have a tutorial on it later in the month, I wont get into what I did here and now.
From there I started fleshing out the layout with transfers and overlays from both palettes I used, clipping the script paper on the left side of the layout to a transfer, then layering a brush over it and clipping an artsy card to it. I also brought in transfers and overlays on the right side of Autumn along the edge.
Bits and pieces of the MultiMedia were used over these layers, such as the tree, flowers, splatters, swirls and urban thread. Word art from the palettes as well as the MM was sandwiched inbetween these layers at the left edge and along the bottom of the photos. I recolored the Routine Word art and placed it underneath the title and blended to Darker Color. Brushes from the palettes were also used throughout the layers.
Duplicating the house and resizing and putting them at the bottom of the page, I brought in a paper, resizing and using a reverse layer mask, brushed back in parts of the paper under the houses. I also used the cloud from the MM and resized it for this grouping. I typed the words over the roof of each house. I placed the clock charm over the button on the large MM house and I called it done.
