Journaling:
We saw a lot of broad-tailed hummingbirds. It didn't take long for us to get back into the rhythm of fast-moving photography. Remember wild turkeys on our porch, and pretzel and caramel Klondike ice cream bars.

Your bird photography is fantastic! What a shot! I'm hoping to get as good with my camera. Your choice of texture is so spot on, it reminds me of the quick flutter of the hummingbird's wings in stop action.
