New York City Click

Ya'll know I am a big fan of the New York Public Library digital database that's filled with vintage photos. I've been saving this stereoscopic card image of a man photography New York City until the perfect APP came along. Found it in the NEW ArtPlay Palette Hygge.

Supplies:
ArtPlay Palette Hygge *NEW & On Sale 3/31!*
Hygge WordART Mix No. 1 *NEW & On Sale 3/31!*
MultiLayeredFotoBlendz No. 7 *NEW & On Sale 3/31!*
eA Vintage Cameras No. 1 *NEW & On Sale!* [ link ]
ArtsyPaint No. 9 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtsyPaint-No.-9.html

Process notes:
I selected Solid Paper No. 2, Artsy Paper No. 2 and No. 4 from the NEW ArtPlay Palette Hygge, reverse masking in sections that I liked to create my base. I placed my photo and masked it using Multi-Layered FotoBlenz No. 7. Duplicated the photo twice, using blend modes of Luminosity and Color Burn. Turned on and off a few layers of the fotoblendz, recoloring a few to blend into the photo. I brushed cameras and WordART from the new eA Vintage Cameras No.1 . Also used ArtsyPaint No. 9 to highlight and darken a few spots and to add more depth. Finishing touch was Hygge WordART Mix No. 1. And my trip in the wayback machine to NYC, circa 1911, ended.

Thanks for looking!
I agree you found just the right things to put together. It feels like it's pulled out of an old attic.

Amazing page! I love how you explain (not that i'd be able to repeat any of that :) but it's fascinating to see how those steps explained to achieve such a fantastic result)

WOWZA! Looking forward to seeing that APP (what does Hygge mean...I'll Google it), and the addition of Ella's brushes is perfect. That man on the ledge is priceless.

Found out about hygge...a Danish word describing comfort. My stepfather is Danish. Never heard him use the word (hue-guh). He's never been a comfortable person! LOL

You have the best luck with that database. I'm still figuring out how to find stuff. This rocks!

Love the graphic vibe! Ella's camera brush is perfect. Interesting history on the photo! Wonderful blending and page!
