Spring is almost hereand I'm celebrating the blooming flowers. Especially on the highways in Austin thanks to LadyBird Johnson.

Process notes:
I selected ArtsyPaper No. 1 from MiniArtPlay Palette Gelid and duplicated it. I wanted that lovely but of gesso to be on the bottom, so I masked out everything else on the duplicate. I placed my photo and used Multilayered FotoBlenz No. 3 as a mask. Using an adjustment layer, I added more a saturated turquoise color and brightened it up a bit. I placed transfer No. 1 under the photo and reduced the opacity to 32%. The background seemed to need something, so I positioned a scriptTease over the transfer at 64% opacity, masking out some to achieve a round shape. For finishing touches, I added an overlay recolored a matching blue, a quote with a small glow to highlight it, and subtle frame. Completed in time to welcome Spring.
