I started by making a selection of the dancer and I copied it to a new layer. I didnt wanted to use the background. I made the photo artistic and painted looking with some filters of Topaz Impression. I blended it in with a layermask to keep the face a bit more realistic.
In a new document I placed the dancer and a copy that I wanted to make some shadow on. I placed the background paper and all the brushes and transfers. I colored a ScriptTease FotoBlendz and placed it behind the photolayer. I placed all the sparkle dots. I placed the wordstrip and the text. I colored a FlutterBy Lace and gave it some styles.
I merged the layers and I used a fabric brush from Particle Shop (Plugin) on a new layer. I gave it some styles and merged the page again.
I did some sharpening and Dodge and Burn work.
