Arrange Pieces

This is inspired by a Pin that gets a lot of attention from one of my boards.

Process Notes: I wanted a simple background for this piece and chose solid paper 1, then placed the painted fotoblendz, resizing without worry about proportions. I clipped artsy paper 2 to it and brought in lots of artsy transfers over the mask/paper combo, resizing and blending. I wanted all of it concentrated to the mask area. The only piece I didnt resize are the tapes because they were the perfect size for the design, making a triangle.

Bringing in the wall textures, I also resized that to fit over the mask, recoloring from the palette and blending to Multiply. A little Bevel and Emboss was added to it. I thought the stone wall was apropos for the quote. Over this and at the bottom to make a straight line I brought in the Countryside 2 stamp, also resizing, coloring and blending to Color Burn.

Below the stamps in layers panel and some artsy transfers, I placed the clover and weed, blending those to Color Burn.

Typing out the quote, I duplicated it a couple of more times, positioning, resizing and choosing my fonts. One has a transfer from the Moorlands kit clipped to it, and the other two were recolored. I wasnt worried if you could read them or not, they are a design detail. These are arranged up and down the layers panel. The largest quote also has a Brightness/Contrast and Hue/Saturation adjustment layer after it was recolored.

I added a glow just over the wall and countryside stamp in the layers panel and blended it to Color Burn. Finally, I sat the little birdie on the wall, giving it a tiny drop shadow.
Beautiful quote and design! So much depth achieved through the blending!

I just love how you arranged the repetitions of the quote. It reminds me of a Scrabble board. The subtle changes in color and size pack a big punch--reads like a visual mantra. A fine design!
