Bright Forest

Who doesn't love a FREEBIE! You get this perfect Spring mini-Palette when you spend $20 during the birthday celebration. And check out Anna's sale!

I was inspired by Lindas last two tutorials on using brushes to create a scenic background. Her easy-to-understand directions made me want to try this technique.

Supplies:
MiniArtPlay Palette Gelid (FREE with a $20 purchase)
Scenic WordART No. 1 [ link ]

Process notes:
I selected artsy paper #2 from MiniArtPlay Palette Gelid, duplicated it and set the blending mode to Color Burn. I place my photo and sized it to 12 x 12, also setting the blend mode to Color Burn. The paper and photo created the basis of my forest lake scene. I used almost every transfer in the mini-Palette varying the blend modes to add light or dark to certain areas, enhancing the look while adding texture and dimension. I also masked out or blended the edges to create a seamless image. I completed the design by stamping brushes from the kit to fill in the lake and forest areas to create a lush, full look. The wordArt finished the design.

Thanks for looking.
I am in love with all the textures in this dreamy scene you created. You make me want to just sit in the scene and breath in all the fresh greenery. Adore your page!
