AnnaLift: A Textured Life

This is card art that I did for my favorite photog. He loves to take pictures of old textured painted wood. And he always shares them with me. He thinks I should use them in my art. Me, Im not that crazy about thembut I created this because I know it will make him smile.

Supplies:
New Artplay Palette Moorlands: On Sale Until March 10
(Solid paper #1, weed, twig) [ link ]
Artsy Transfers Moorlands: New March 8
MultiMedia Leaves 6 [ link ]
Stitched by Anna Frames #3 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/Stitched-by-Anna-Frames-No.-3.html
Scenic WordART Mix No. 1 [ link ]

Process notes:
One of the reasons why I love Anna's products so much is because it's so easy to create digital artistry in just a few simple steps. Or you can create a more dramatic design by adding more layers and more products too. But for this design, I went the simple route.

I selected solid paper #1 from APP Moorlands and added artsy Transfer #1 to create a more textured background. Placed the three photos, stacked them and added a stitched frames to each. Adjusted the size and position of the stacking order until I found one I liked. Applied different blending modes to each texture. Created a cluster using the weed/twig elements, multimedia leaves and a word transfer. Placed a subtle quote that I really liked, reduced the opacity a bit so it wont distract from the art. Done.

Thanks for looking.
