Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
This is the fourth spread in a new album documenting my daughter's recent trip to the Philippines. (Throughout this project I am leaving out the journaling, as it comes from her private text messages to me.) The template worked well for my photos except once again I had more photos to include than places on the spread but not enough for a whole new page. So I just duplicated frames and shifted things around to (eventually) fit everything together. After recoloring the stains and working on the embellishments, I discovered, being slightly crunched for time, that I could just duplicate and rotate the big Oasis palm tree brush and it would work just fine as a pop of color where I needed it on both sides of the spread. No need to search for and recolor more stain and paint files. I also put a little drop shadow on the brush this time for some texture and changed the background paper I've been using from white to grayish so the frame edges would stick out a bit more.
