Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
I started this layout by pulling in three roughly vertical Fotoblendz across the bottom of the page, then clipping in my photos. I added the background (solid paper #2), then duplicated two of the Fotoblendz, put them on top of the background paper behind the photos, and clipped artsy papers #1 and #3 to them, just to kick off the texture. Artsy Transfer #2 went under those Fotoblendz; Artsy Transfer #1 went on top, toward the right edge. There was a little V-shaped area between the two smaller photos of Ollie and the larger image, so I dragged Artsy Transfer #3 in therethat's what created the blue tones. I had to jiggle around some of the layers of the Artsy Transfer to get rid of hard edges or to alter the way the various layers overlapped onto OllieI used layer masks to remove stray bits. I used Artsy Transfer #4 in the same way, to fill the space between the first two small photos of Oliver.
To finish, I used Artsy Paper #4 as an overlay, set to multiply blending mode at half opacity, and then added the multimedia hearts, the key, and the door brush.
