In 2014, a friend and I spent three weeks in Italy. We especially loved Tuscany and stayed for a good week in Florence, taking day trips to the many small towns around there. One of our favorites was San Gimignano, a small, quaint, quiet town. As we were walking around, I spied this staircase and took a picture. I love all the plants and flowers that lead upward.
