Feed the Soul

I wanted to create a collaged page look, with the feel of glued down glossy magazine clippings with the photo layers. I dont know if I succeeded or not, but this is what I came up with. Soup and salad on a cold winters day to feed the soul.

UrbanThreadz No. 13UrbanThreadzNo.13
Fare No. 1FareNo.1
Layered FotoBlendz No. 5 (Retired)

Photos: Mine

Process Notes: After opening a new file, I brought in 4 of the fotoblendz, resizing, stacking and overlapping them from top to bottom, and clipping my photos to them and a paper to the top mask. Using solid paper 3 as the foundation, I brought in 2 more photoblendz, slipping them under the photos. I clipped papers to those also.

In-between the layers, I slipped in the Fare brushes, brushes from the palette, word art mix, overlays and transfers. All of the layers, except the transfers I experimented with different blend modes.

After bringing in the title word art, I placed a cool glow underneath it, using Overlay blend mode and desaturating. On the title I beveled and embossed and put a tiny drop shadow.

Just above the background layer I placed the skinny overlay and left it on Normal blend mode. Adding the button and threads completed this page.
You are too healthy, I would probably have had soup and bread LOL!! Love the texture and distressed look to the page with the pop of colour from the salad!

I think you've succeeded! Love the idea of the glossy magazine look. It's especially good with the soup image. Well done!
