I dragged my photo onto Artsy Paper 4 and then blended in my photo using inverted masking. I used Artsy Transfers #4 and #3 as highlighting devices, to paint on texture, light, and color. Not all the layers stayed the way they were deliveredthrough trial and error, I shuffled some up and down the layer stack. I dropped the wood word (on difference blending mode) into the layer stack and then typed my text. There was a nice dark swoop on Artsy Transfer #5, so I added that along the left edge at the last minute to balance out the dark tones. I added the birds, embellishments, and FotoGlos last.
