Process
Solid paper 1 from APP Summery was used as the base of the page. Three different masks from FotoBlendz Overlays 3 were layered over the paper, two vertical and one horizontal. APP Summery Artsy papers 2 and 3 and solid paper 1 were clipped to the fotoblendz masks creating a new blended paper. The photo was layered over the paper, using an inverted layer mask to hide the photo and a soft brush, portions of the photo were painted back. A ModGrunge FotoBlendz mask (blending mode changed to screen) was placed over the photo layers and a duplicated image of the beach was clipped to the mask. The 2017 was created by merging the individual acrylic numbers, then using the Free Transform > Perspective tool. MM Sun 2_3 was added. Some of the layers were turned off and the saturation was increased on the circular disk. Several warm glows (blending mode changed to color and color burn) were added to intensify the color of the image. A warm glow was clipped to the Celebrate word art with the blending mode changed to color to make the word gold instead of silver. Word art, magic sprinklez, sparkle dots and splatters were added to complete the page.
