Faith

I had intended to upload a December spread tonight which would have been all about my shopping and wrapping of presents for the toddler group Christmas party, a page full of jolly red and green paper. Did you take photographs today my husband asked? No I replied, today i'm taking screenshots of the calendar I'm doing with my Neve pages...and I will be documenting that, it should make a good spread. And then I got a text telling me that one of my ex colleague's two year old grandson was seriously ill with meningitis and the doctors have told her and her family to say their goodbyes. Is it selfish to say that I immediately imagined if it was Neve? The sorrow, the heartbreak, the anger at a God who would allow this...I don't know what this page is about, I don't know exactly what I am trying to say with this wintery landscape all I know is that my colleague's heart will be breaking into a million pieces and I really, really want to believe in miracles and that this little two year old boy will defeat the odds and stay with his family.

You made a wonderful page! This winterly landscape is so very serene and silent and a little mysterious. Even though I can almost hear all the sounds made by the litttle animals hidden somewhere and preparing for winter.
And I'm feeling this place is waiting for some young children to come and play around in the snow and have fun.
I really hope this will become reality!

I put it right in my favorites.

such a sad yet hopeful design. and art is our therapy. healing thoughts send to the family.

Even before I read your journaling I was struck by the tumultuous feelings I got from looking at this page. After reading, I could see how you had channeled your emotions into pure feeling--it's like somebody shook the snowglobe of anxiety and worry. When my kids were growing up, meningitis was one of my biggest fears. I am SO sorry to hear about your little friend and I do hope for a miracle.
