This week's lift celebrates your family's history by using an amazing photo from times gone by. Since I don't have any, I decided to focus on an anecdote from my Uncle's youth. TV programs came on at certain times and he didn't want to miss anything. So he'd perch himself on a chair 15 minutes before the show started and stare at the blank screen. Just like the family in my photo. Crazy, huh?

Such sweet simplicity...your uncle. I had one like that too...Uncle Hans. But he would fall asleep before the show started. Gorgeous page. Love the retro elements.

Watching the test pattern, how the shows did not start or end on time...
many many memories--but a family happening--now, not so much. Everyone has their own device and watches alone.

Love the nostalgia of this page. We had a TV similar to that and I can remember waiting for my favorite shows to start on Saturday morning. Love the brushwork!
