Challenge 6 is all about color. But colors much different than those of the current season. More like the soft purples, blues, pinks and tans that symbolize a pale spring.

My photo was shot at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center last week. I volunteer there whenever I can. Last week they held their annual "Thank the Volunteers" happy hour. While I love the center in every season, this time of year is always amazing. The Monarch butterflies are visiting; the summer plants are fading while still showcasing their last bit of color. One garden is bordered with an intriguing array of grasses and plantswhere this snap was taken.
