Page Process-
The photo was clipped to a FotoBlendz and both were resized.
Photo coloring technique-
Next the photo was duplicated and the top (duplicated layer) was converted to black and white
Enhnace/Convert to black and white and then tweak the opacity of the black and white layer to bring back some of the color in the original colored photo in the layer beneath the black and white photo. I set this one at 60%...................this technique is great for a slight retro feel to your photo. Also a great way to balance the color in your photo with the color palette you are working with.
To bump up the above technique just a bit more a couple of transfers were also blended into portions of the photo.
Brushes and transfers were layered into the ART and blending modes applied.
WordART (my fave way to journal and tell the story of the photo/ART) were blended into the design using WordART and WordTransfers and ScritTease and WordLabels.

Uses the Pea Aubrey font and was duplicated 3 times and then flipped and turned and lined up to frame the edges of the ART.
A bit of texture is provided with the stitching. An UrbanStitchez below the photo seems to add some stability to the design while the White Looped Stitching appears to randomness and uncertainty and a bit of chaos.mmmmm, kinda like that LIFE thing!
