Journaling:
We contemplated a long time on whether and how to visit Triberg, finally decided to rent a car in the area, and were glad we did. As waterfalls go, these were good ones, and Germanys highest, where the Gutach River tumbles 500 feet in several bounces. It was also a good hike up the gorge to the different sections of the falls, although that would add to the very long hiking day.
