Doing the baths at Baden-Baden, where clothing was prohibited
, and where the Romans took advantage of the hot springs 2000 years ago, was an ultimate experience!

Doing the baths at Friedrichsbad was definitely one of the boldest things I did on the trip. It was worth it. It was a little intimidating, and at times a bit confusing. There were 17 steps to the process, with signs that included English and clocks in almost every room, as well as attendants, but I think it was step 11 before I truly relaxed. There was time to repeat steps, but Id already taken so many showers I decided to call it quits after one round in about 3 hours. It was really fun and relaxing; Im so glad I did it. Despite it being a Saturday, it was pretty quiet. I was usually alone, never more than two other people sharing a room or a pool. I couldnt take anypictures inside of course, these are from the brochure, but it was old and stone and tile and soft colors and beautiful.
