Although I am not done with scrapping the trip, to take a creative break I've been going back and checking on spelling, placement, and adding bits of ephemera so I can put it all away in a box, off my table ;-)

The little canals, called bachle, running through the city, were the source of endless
entertainment for little puddle jumpers and sailors, as well as beer-drinking adults
wanting to cool their feet.
I loved this dresser in our hotel lobby. The little drawers in her dress held Freiburg information.
Once again, it was raining as we arrived in Freiburg, but we donned raincoats, opened
umbrellas, and set out to explore. Freiburg was
fascinating at both ground and sky level, with little canals and stone mosaics as well as old buildings and towers, and by old I mean about 800 years.
