Process - I started with my main photo and clipped it to the large photomask, that way I could choose which paper I thought would go best with the photo. After placing the paper on the page I then added my other two photos and clipped them to the frame masks. I then added color from the photos with the eye drop tool and used the edit fill to fill in colour to the textures and stains on the template. I added a transfer from APP Fallen Blush and duplicated it and rotated it to fit on the page in three different places. I recolored the urban threadz and added the elements and changed the hue and saturation of the flower just slightly to better match the photo and finally added my journaling.
Journaling reads ...My Mother - In- Law grows the most dazzeling Dahlias in her garden. She loves them and tenderly cares for them every year. Planting them in the spring and watching them grow! Then she brings the cut flowers to church or enjoys them in her house for months. Late Setpember/Early October is when they are their most beautiful! Then she tenderly digs them up and puts them in safe keeping for the winter months. She amazes me that she still is doing this at the the age of 80! She says it keeps her young caring for them I suppose we all need a purpose in life!
