Process Notes: Using solid paper 5 and solid paper 3 as my foundation, I brought in the photo and placed it at the right edge, blending it to Multiply at 100% opacity.
Along the top edge of solid paper 3 I used the roughly edged brushes using colors from the palette. Sand scratched and the palette brushes were also used along that line.
At this point I typed out the quote and positioned it on the page. Like Ive said many times before, I think of any verbiage as part of the design, so I like to bring it in early in the process.
I used several pieces of the artsy transfers over and under the photo, mainly the stains, art strokes, textures and tape, some with different blend modes and others I left as is. More stains, using the colors of the palette were added to the composition.
The word art was added at the left edge of the page and running up the left edge of the photo and then adding the stitches at the right edge of the page. The buttons were added on the left edge.
I duplicated the photo, blended it to Hard Light at 100% opacity and I used the Blend Ifs on the copy as well as the quote. Around the quote I placed the circle scribble and used the Blend Ifs and added Noise to it.
Last I brought in the birds to complete the page. I got the inspiration for this page from a collage on Pinterest.
