Sweet Pea

My Granddaughter Autumn in one of a series of photos my daughter Jackie has taken for her senior pictures. I cant believe she is going into her senior year in high school. I am so proud of the young lady she has become.

September 7 twenty-four hour $5.00 ValuePack with coordinating $5.00 ArtPlay Palette Sweet Pea.

The ValuePack contains:
4x6 ArtsyKardz Sweet Pea
FlutterBy FotoBlendz No. 1
KreasedTransfers No. 2
MultiMedia Hears No. 2
ScriptTease Love No. 1
Additional Supplies: ScriptTease Summer Overlay No. 1ScriptTeaseSummerOverlaysNo.1
WarmGlows No. 3WarmGlowsNo.3

Font: Traveling Typewriter

Process Notes: Using artsy paper 5, I placed Autumns photo in the white space of the paper adding a reverse mask and brushing in the photo with one of Annas Blendz brushes. They are fabulous and a must have in your arsenal. I duplicated the photo and put it on Soft Light blend mode at 80% opacity. Over the photo I aded the WarmGlows and left it at Normal blend mode at 100% opacity.

I added the sweet pea transfer along the right edge of the photo blending it to Multiply at 100% opacity along with the sweet pea brush over it, giving it more of a sketchy look. On the left side I added the ScriptTease, recoloring it from the photo and blending it to Linear Burn at 86% opacity. I added another along the bottom of the photo treating it the same way.

Over the ScriptTease I placed the word art from the palette and using the Hue and Saturation adjustment layer, I recolored the word Pea to closely match the sweet pea transfer. I used the Linear Burn blend mode at 100% opacity making it take on the contour of the underlying textures of the background paper.

Another transfer from the palette was used in the upper left corner flipping it vertically and putting it on Color Burn blend mode at 100% opacity over the word art brush I had placed there.

Under the ScriptTease I put the psd MultiMedia Heart leaving all the layers on Normal blend mode but turning off the shadow of the heart itself. I added a crease beneath the sweet pea word art and blended that to Linear Burn at 63% opacity.

Over everything I added the ScriptTease Summer edges, recoloring with a color from the photo and blending it to Color Burn at 71% opacity. Adding Autumns name and date completed the layout. There you have it.
