I have a box of things that my mother saved. I found this telegram from 1936 requesting her mother to feed the turtle while she was away. A bit of insight from her childhood.

Process
Solid paper 1 from APP Traveler was used for the base of the page. The telegram was clipped to the mask on the Artsy Gram and the turtle was added and colored. Then the layers were clipped to a transfer from the kit and the layers were flatten. The photo was duplicated and layered on the dual frame. Button Threads were added to anchor it. Several transfers from APP Traveler were layered under the photo frames and telegram (blending mode changed to color burn). The passport stamps and splatters were added, along with the stitched arrows. Word art and embellishments completed the page.
