Journaling:
When everyone else took the photos they wanted from Dad's house, they shipped me the remains. They were damaged and could not be saved. You scanned them and I made a 160-page book before tossing.

That's a great title--I kind of figured something like that was going on, even without the journaling, especially with all the ephemeral bits and pieces in the background--just what you would find in a shoebox. Such a strong visual statement, with a very powerful under-message (the salvaging part).

Gripping and beautiful... love it all. I had similar circumstances,only I received no photos... I must rely on my memories.

Fantastic! My mom still has the boxes of old photos but I have scanned just about all of them. I have a beautiful stash to scrap with! I bet your book is gorgeous!
