Created an Andy Warhol-style pop art Elvis and using the free with $15.00 purchase Mini Palette listed below, in celebration of Annas 5 years with Oscraps birthday. Elvis was a much loved one-of-a-kind and so is Anna Aspnes! My art has grown so much since joining her very talented Creative Team 8 months ago!

Process Notes: Using artsy paper no. 1 because it has a wonderful painted corner where I placed Elvis, I roughed up the edges of the pop art using brushes from the mini palette. Along the right edge of the pop art Elvis and underneath, I put the creased edges to give it a little more grungey look, which I blended with Color Burn. Over the pop art I positioned and resized an overlay from the palette.
Underneath Elvis in the layers panel, I placed and resized the fotoblendz and clipped an old postcard of the Vegas strip after I made it black and white. The mask is blended to Vivid Light with 38% opacity, which brought out the underlying textures. At the top of the photo and using a color from the pop art I used a brush from the palette, masking out the part over the pealing texture of the paper and where I later placed a dice.
I always like to put the title in early in the process because to me its part of the design of the whole page. It usually takes on a different look throughout the process of creating a layout. Its not always the case, but most of the time. Again, I used the Blend Ifs to bring out the background of the paper through the title.
Creating the lollipop bouquet by duplicating it a couple more times, resizing and positioning, I placed the pull tab and with an adjustment layer mask, I brushed away parts of the pull tab I wanted to appear behind the lollipop sticks. I gave all these a little drop shadow.
Bringing in the dice, I duplicated it a couple more times, resizing and positioning and gave them a little drop shadow also.
To finish the layout, I brought in the camera and cassette, blending them to Color Burn and more overlays and transfers from the mini palette, putting them just above the paper in the layers panel.
