JOURNALING: PENNIE.. . .
. . .rescued from an Amish puppy mill in 2009, came into my life just weeks after my "perfect" Shih Tzu went over the rainbow bridge. Pennie is what I call a "Crested Yorkie," 3/4 Yorkshire Terrier and 1/4 Chinese Crested. She has the coloring and temperament of a Yorkie and the build of a Chinese Crested. But, she is ALL terrier (and everything that entails). Id loved a terrier once in my life (when I was a LOT younger) and knew what I was getting in to: barking, just to be barking; ornery; big personality in a little body; and more love than you can hardly stand. I'm not sure "who rescued who."
