Brother Luis of Lon, Writer, poet and translator been born in 1528 to Belmont, and died in 1591. He was a monk of the order of saint Augustin. He taught the theology and the philosophy to the university of Salamanca. He was named to it for his exceptional knowledge of the culture and the Hebraic language, he translated in particular the Song of Songs into Castillan.
