The dam(roadblock), the length of 170 m, contains a hydroelectric station and a lock with fishes on the left bank. The navigable, long lock of 90 m, presents on the right bank a lowering of 43 m. the bored(bathed) has the lock of hard Carrapatlo xactement 25 minutes, what is rather fast given the number of m3 of water. It is the second highest fall of Europe, just behind Zaporoj in Ukraine which makes 37 m.
