SeaShells No. 1 by Anna Aspnes http://www.oscraps.com/shop/SeaShells-No.-1.html

Process: I started with an artsy paper from ArtPlay Palette Sea Life. I duplicated it and the copy was set to blend mode Color Burn. I added two adjustment layers for Hue Saturation and Levels. I used the mask on the Levels layer and adjusted parts that I thought was to dark. Then I placed a striped paper from the ArtPlay Palette Sea Life on the top and blended it together with the underlying layers. I adjusted the size of it with the Gradient Tool, so the part on the left side was the only I kept. Then I placed transfers and brushes from ArtPlay Palette Sea Life over the light parts in middle of the page where I still thought it was too much lightness. I added the photo and blended it together with the other layers by using the Gradient Tool. I then added adjustment layers for Hue/Saturation and Brightness and Contrast. I used a lot of brushes and transfers on the left side of the photo. I placed a coral with the Layer Styles Bevel & Emboss and a Drop Shadow over these and got a feeling of stone in that part of the page. A brush from SeaShells No. 1 became the base for the stone. A copy of the coral, set to blend mode Multiply, was placed below the stairs in the photo. Then I added a starfish from Stained SkribbleSummer No. 1 on the right side to get some contrast there and some seashells from SeaSprinklez No. 1 were placed in the middle. I finished the page with the wordart from Life WordART No. 6 placed on the left side and recolored in to a blue tone with a Color Overlay.
I love the colours, the shells, the softness and that intriguing photo that draws you in!
