Process
This is the second in a series of six about people, a barn, and a field, using three photos from my personal collection (one for texture) and a free-use photo of a barn. Here again my photos were blurry (video stills, actually, from a music promo for my daughter's band), so I used the Artsy Transfers to disguise that. After adding the Artsy Transfers, I composited the photos in relative place in the layer stack, and then blended things together using lots of layer masks and blending modes. I moved the Artsy Transfer layers around to get the texture where I wanted it, then added additional texture with the paper (layered on top, duplicated with a blending mode, at reduced opacity) and the 12x12 page overlay as well as a slew of taped textures on the bottom. For finishing touches, I used the word art and the birds.
