Notes:
I used the template as is, only tugging the sizes of things a bit smaller to fit my text. I clipped in the photos, creating a vignette effect around the main image by blending the background papers on multiply mode. I then added the greens, using the artsy stains and recoloring the artstroke that was included on the template.

I made the title by typing in the word rain in a bold font then clipping a duplicate of the main photo to it. To make the word art stand out, I used the color picker to grab a brown from the artsy paper, then stamped it behind the title with artsy brushes on separate layers, changing the blend mode to color burn.

Because I wanted a built-up look, I finished the layout by pulling in an artsy transfer over everything--I methodically clicked through the layers one at a time, moving things up and down in the layer stack, recoloring paints and stains, and varying blending modes until I got the look I wanted. Some rain and a button and it was done.

Since I am self-printing this at 8x8, I'm not worried about the edges the way I would be if I were have the album professionally printed.
I knew it was yours! Love this style you developed! You bring so much sfere in your pages!

Oh my gosh, the work you went to for this! And it really shows! Stunning and complex page!

wonderful contrast with the green photos and the gray rain...can't have one without the other! love how you've used the watercolor template :)

I'm in the middle of planning a trip there now! Appreciate your notes. Enjoyed reading your journaling. How the photos of the walkway hug the photo of the glacier and add colour to the grey and the B&W photo kept front and centre because they now have bragging rights. Love it.

So much depth here. The gray background is perfect, and I love how you used B&W both in the photos and the stains. Sorry you had a diversion, but you still had a lot of great days.
