2016May7 Cochise unknown Anna Lift

Thanks to lynnpremo's page Uncle Stan - lovely inspiration.
I grew up watching Westerns on TV and at the Movies. One of my favorites was Broken Arrow about the relationship between Cochise, Chiricahua Apache chief and Tom Jeffords an Indian agent who brokered a peace. When Cochise died he was buried in a site still unknown. There are no Apaches living on their native lands these days. The lower photo is taken at the Chiricahua National Monument and is said to be the head of Cochise reclining.

This is powerful. The top picture especially. Love the blending and subtle color blocking.

I love the top photo, how it's faded, like a whisper from the past. And the bottom compliments it so well. Really a beautiful, powerful layout. I grew up watching westerns on TV and I loved them. Still do.

Love the story that you conveyed... history is so enthralling.. wonderful blending and opacity use.. very artful!!

I agree with Trudy, it really would be a Western Poster, the blending gives a curious feeling, what a fantastic page!

The way you have blended the background photo is just stunning!! Great connection to those old westerns!!
